Events, Activities, Wedding Stand-In

I'm available as a stand-in dad for special events or activities, including weddings/walking down the aisle, best-man speeches, a groomsman, father-daughter dances, work events, or other gatherings requiring social competence. 

I can teach how to buy a car without being ripped off (I know all their tricks), how to buy a house, how to start a business, how to enroll in college, and more!

Sometimes you just need a non-judgmental father figure who listens. I'm good at active listening and reading non-verbal cues, making therapeutic conversation one of my favorite aspects of real-life fatherhood.

Who we choose to share our life with is the most important decision we make, and dating is a particular skill these days. How we conduct ourselves around others and the basics of etiquette never go out of style, so knowing these basics is essential. I can help. I also have a process to help you screen potential partners in order to improve your chances of selecting a good fit. It's a jungle out there...

I have a lot of experience guiding young adults toward independence. How to make goals and achieve them. How to build and maintain a steady life course. Helping get those adult children up and moving with a sense of purpose.

I'm really good at helping people get organized and especially good at helping people achieve goals. From small to big goals, I can help!

The workplace is a minefield where social missteps can derail your career. I have executive-level military healthcare experience, so I know how political the workplace can be. I can offer help with navigating early and mid-level careers. Here's a tip for free: No conversation at the workplace should ever be viewed as "just between us".

Upon request, I can review your medications and/or supplements and offer recommendations for you to discuss with your healthcare provider. (I am a critical care advanced-practice RN)

After getting to know you, I can provide a character reference for job applications, or write a personalized letter of recommendation for your university/college applications and scholarships. I've done many of these!
